I wholeheartedly believe in pro-active skin care…especially when a bride is preparing for the most important day of her life! It is an area I love and specialize in. Since every client is unique, I begin assessment …zoom is perfect for this and during our meeting we discuss areas of concern and formulate a personalized routine with our trusted products and matched to your personal needs.
Naturally, washing your face every day is a must:) Personally I just splash my face with warm water in the morning and wash my skin with a hydrating or gentle gel cleanser in the evening.
The basics are a great place to start. A bride should start months in advance before her wedding to get her skin healthy for the wedding day. I can not state enough the importance of this vital step. Remember your skin is the canvas for beautiful makeup. If you have skincare concerns you can always contact me and I would be more then happy to give you my suggestions.
How should I come to the trial run and wedding day?
Wear a white or ivory shirt depending on the color of your wedding dress. I recommend coming with a clean face free from any other products including moisturizer. Also Hydration is key for beautiful skin so drink lots of water before the trial run and before the wedding.
How do you help brides choose the right make-up for their wedding day?
We ask brides to send pictures of themselves and their inspirational pictures before the trial run. Trial runs are where all the details are worked out and if anything needs to be changed then we have a chance to do so. Honestly trial runs determine what you don’t like as much as what you do like….Please remember that:)

Our makeup kits are built with products that have proven themselves over and over again and have stood the text of time in our Minnesota weather…. Our products are based on ones that are long lasting and photograph beautifully..
Why hire a Professional makeup artist?
This is your wedding day and one of the biggest days of your life and you want to look and feel your best. It is also the day you will be looked at adored the most. On the morning of the wedding it is great to sit back and be pampered and not have to travel
Will you travel and is there a fee?
We travel a ton! We do start a fee after 30 miles from the studio of .57 cents per mile.

Do you use airbrush?
Yes, It is our first makeup of choice for the brides…….and their first choice…their face is quite flawless… This will also be determined by the makeup artist during the trial. We have spent a lot of time mastering the products used to ensure it lasts hour and hours!
