New Website Just About Completed

blog post for 3.16

As you can see Nature’s Genesis is being revamped completely and totally!! Our old website never did function correctly and was built on a dinosaur platform. We either had to shut down Nature’s Genesis or design a totally new website. We are happy to report we went with the later.

We are adding a few new skincare lines and removing  some that did not preform up to our standards. Nature’s Genesis goal is to provide Corrective Skincare for the everyday woman. Skincare that is results driven.

Our makeup line is also being discontinued and we will be bringing in a new line. Tracy has been meeting with some makeup reps and researching a few lines proven for there effectiveness in beauty and health for the skin.

If you have any questions or need to place an order please contact Tracy via the contact page, phone or visit us on facebook at https://www.facebook.com/naturesgenesis for up to date information, skin care tips, recipes, and anything that pertains to beauty.

Our store will be up and running shortly, but in the mean time please browse our website. New information and items will be added weekly if not daily.

Thank you for being a part of Nature’s Genesis. It really is a privilege and honor to serve you.

Make your day beautiful,

Tracy

Humidifier Your Skin’s Best Friend

Another reason why we need and should use humidifiers. This isn’t written in stone, but it makes for an interesting read and observation.

I know when our children were small and even now when they are “men,” I’m always promoting the use of a humidifier or crockpot. The dryness of the air can wreck havoc on your skin and also cause nose bleeds and cold symptoms.

Now we find out that humidifiers might even help prevent the spread of flu during the flu season.

“For example, in the wettest possible absolute humidity, less than 20% of the virus was still viable after an hour, while at the driest conditions 80% of the virus was still capable of making someone sick. After 23 hours, the viruses in the dampest conditions were all dead, while 60% of those under the most arid conditions were still alive.”

“Absolute humidity refers to the actual amount of water vapor in the air regardless of saturation

Humidity works wonders on your skin and also your health especially in the dry winter months. Moisture in the air is good for you all the way around!

We’ve all seen the advertisements for products that claim the power to reduce the size of enlarged pores. It’s impossible to shrink pores once they are enlarged, BUT…..the good news is, we can change the appearance with the right kind of skincare products.

“Skincare for a Healthy Pregnancy!”

Pregnancy is an exciting time in any woman’s life.  Preparing for the arrival of a newborn baby brings a whole mixture of emotions and also changes to not only your body but your skin as well.

Many expectant mothers want to continue with their skincare routines yet conflicting messages within the press can make many apprehensive about product usage and certain ingredients.

How then do we know what things to avoid to keep safe yet to use in order to maintain our skin condition?  After all, along side the pleasant effects of being pregnant, hormonal changes can bring not only breakouts but dryness, pigmentation and sometimes sensitivity to the skin.  Using a bland product with no active ingredient whatsoever will simply not cut it when it comes to these concerns, yet the health of yourself and baby cannot be compromised.
