Itasca State Park Wedding with Traveling Wedding Hair & Makeup Team

Our wedding makeup and hair teams love to travel to our brides and what a perfect place to travel to Lake Itasca Park. Could there be a prettier place to get married…I don’t think so…. Her bridesmaids floral crowns were fashioned by Petals & Beans from Nisswa MN.

“Matt is from Dallas, TX and I am from Northern Iowa. My family owns a cabin in Park Rapids so we spent all of our summers growing up in Itasca State Park. So it was always special to me. Park Rapids also became special to Matt when he proposed to me at our family cabin last July. It is such nice get away from the Texas heat and Itasca is so beautiful and serene, it only seemed obvious to us that we should get married there! 🙂

We met in Dallas three years ago, my first weekend living in Dallas, at a friend’s party (the best man, Danny) and I was introduce to him by my best friend (our officiant, Erin). We hit it off immediately! And I’ve been in Dallas ever since! He is a Software Developer and I own a wedding cake bakery, Daydream Bakery. I made the cakes and my dad made our cool wedding arch!

As we grow a family of our own, we are hoping to spend our summers up at our cabin and exploring Itasca State park as much as possible. “
