This product is fabulous for those dealing with acne, but instead of manipulating into the skin as a scrub use it as a mask. Leave on skin for  5-10 minutes then rinse.

Do not rub if you have active acne.

Retinol Scrub mixed with the Glycolic Cleanser will do wonders for adult acne.

Today’s Ingredient of the Day: Jojoba Beads found in our 2% Retinol Scrub!

What is it? Jojoba is a desert shrub found in the southern United States and northern Mexico. It produces large seeds from which jojoba oil is extracted. Jojoba beads are a fully hydrogenated form of jojoba wax.

Uses: The beads are used in soaps, scrubs, and cleansers intended to exfoliate the skin. They provide the physical exfoliation component of our 2% Retinol Scrub, which gently buffs away surface debris without irritation or damage to the skin.

Benefits: Jojoba beads are gentle, yet effective. Because they are completely round, they don’t scratch like shells and other exfoliants can. Made with jojoba esters, jojoba beads are completely biodegradable and are a renewable resource.

We love our 2% Retinol Scrub because it is a dual action exfoliant- mechanical exfoliation (Jojoba beads) combined with chemical exfoliation (Retinol, 2% Kojic Acid, and Malic Acid).

It is safe for all skin types.

Not for use on pregnant clients.

Make your day Beautiful!
